Overview
How The Fotona Vascular Laser Works
The Fotona Laser’s long pulseNd:YAG laser setting is an effective way to spider veins.
The Fotona Nd:YAG laser has a Variable Square Pulse (VSP) technology that allows deep penetration into the skin, without doing any damage to the skin surface.
The laser’s Long Pulse setting can target the red, purple and violet pigmentation in the blood vessels of the skin, by delivering controlled laser energy to coagulate them.
To ensure the lesions do not grow back, the vascular feeding system is targeted and broken down into dead tissues, allowing the body’s immune system to remove them naturally.

Clinical References
In order to prove the FotonaLaser’s effectiveness in treating vascular lesions, many clinical studies have been performed.
Based on an experiment published in the Journal of the Laser and Health Academy, over 90% of subjects showed good-to-excellent regression in their lesionsafter going through Fotona Laser treatment.

FAQ
Most people with unwanted lesions are suitable. However, pregnant women should hold off treatment until after pregnancy.
Patients can expect to feel a zapping sensation accompanied by heat, much like the snap of a rubber band.
As it is a minimally invasive treatment, most patients can tolerate it with minimal discomfort.
This depends on the size of the lesions. On average, patients see results after 3-5 treatments spread out over 3 months.
Each treatment takes between 10-15 minutes in most cases. More severe lesions could take longer.
Although you will feel heat and a tinge of discomfort during treatment, it passes immediately once treatment is done. There is almost no downtime, and you can resume your regular routine straight afterwards.
Most patients see dramatic lesion regression and can enjoy permanent results.
