The Tri-Beam Q Switched laser utilizes Rich-PTP (Photoacoustic Toning Pulse) technology by shattering targeted chromophore and enhancing the photoacoustic affect, resulting in effective pigment removal.
Studies have shown that this treatment meets patients’ pigment removal requirements such as having high peak power and short pulse duration.

How It Removes Pigmentation: Gen Technique By Using Quasi-Long Pulse
Gen Technique for photo-rejuvenation leverages on advanced laser technology to destroy deep pigmentation safely without side effects.
The Quasi-Long Pulse 1,065nm Gen Technique is a combination of thermal lifting and toning by using selective photothermolysis. It is not only effective in treating pigmentation lesions, but also reduces appearance of pores and achieves skin lifting.
During treatment, the Tri-Beam laser safely targets the individual spots, gently breaking the pigment into tiny particles. The spot will turn gray or white for a few minutes, which is a natural response of the skin as it absorbs the energy.
The spot will then turn darker and is eventually removed completely within 1 to 2 weeks. At this point, lighter skin starts to blend in as it heals, making your skin uniformly toned.
The Tri-Beam Q Switched Pigment Removal Laser is used to treat these pigmentation conditions, while minimizing risk of PIH, hypopigmentation and side effects:
Effectively Treats Different Types Of Pigmentation Conditions
The Tri-Beam Q Switched Laser Advantage: 2 Pulse / 20Hz/, Powerful Rich-PTP Toning
Studies have shown that the Q Switched Laser is a highly effective treatment for pigment removal. One particular study showed that all 16 patients involved enjoyed significant improvement in pigmentation appearance after undergoing treatment.
Here are some studies for your reference:
Retrospective analysis of melasma treatment using a dual mode of low-fluence Q-switched and long-pulse Nd:YAG laser vs. low-fluence Q-switched Nd:YAG laser monotherapy.
Retreatment using a dual mode of low-fluence Q-switched and long-pulse Nd:YAG laser in patients with melasma aggravation after previous therapy.
A randomized, split-face clinical trial of low-fluence Q-switched neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (1,064 nm) laser versus low-fluence Q-switched alexandrite laser (755 nm) for the treatment of facial melasma.
Clinical and Histopathologic Assessment of Facial Melasma After Low-Fluence Q-Switched Neodymium-Doped Yttrium Aluminium Garnet Laser.
Anyone who wants to remove of pigmentation, no matter the type or severity. Treatment works for all skin types.
Patients may feel a light sensation on the skin, like the snap of a thin rubber band. It is not painful and easily tolerable.
A mild to moderate redness may develop, which usually fades within an hour. There is no downtime and normal activities can be resumed immediately. However, it is most important to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2-3 weeks before resuming normal outdoor activities. Be sure to protect your skin with sunblock.
Treatment time varies for each patient, but most treatments take around 15 minutes.
A minimum of 3 treatments over 3 months period will start to produce significants results especially if combined with fillers.
As pigments cannot be completely removed within one session, residual pigments would feed on the surrounding blood vessels to grow again. Hence it is important to complement Q Switch laser with a vascular laser to clot the surrounding blood vessels thus limiting pigment growth. Daily application of Cysteamine cream and Sunblock is mandatory for long term maintenance.
For superficial pigmentation like freckles and PIH, we recommend a course of 3 Q-Switch treatments at $802.5 w/GST. Up to 95% removal can be achieved.
For Stubborn pigmentation like Melasma, we highly recommend a 3 months program comprising of 3 Q-Switch + 3 Vascular Long Pulse laser to clot the blood vessels surrounding the pigments so that residual pigments are unable to feed on the blood vessels to grow again after removal. A topical Cysteamine cream complements our laser program very well and further enhance treatment efficacy. Up to 70% reduction could be observed even for stubborn Melasma conditions with this comprehensive program.
