What You’ll Experience At A Secret RF Treatment
The Secret RF micro-needling device uses disposable 10 or 25 microscopic needles that gently punctures the skin’s surface at various predetermined depths. Be it in Singapore or worldwide, pain is minimised by numb cream application before the microneedling treatment.
It is also very safe, as the energy delivered spares the most superficial layer of the skin. The potential side effects seen with other acne scar treatments like aggressive lasers or deep chemical peels, is minimized or completely avoided.
What You Can Expect After Treatment

Acne scar treatment has traditionally been a challenge for those with darker skin. The good news is the Secret RF is specially designed to work well on darker skin and all other skin types.
The Secret RF uses micro-needles to penetrate the skin. This process is virtually painless as it minimizes damage to the skin surface. If you have lower tolerance towards pain, a topical anesthesia is also administered to render the treatment pain-free.
The microneedling treatment will take around 20 minutes at Aesteem Clinic Singapore.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure 1-2 weeks prior to treatment. Blood thinners like aspirin, fish oil and ibuprofen should also be avoided.
You can resume daily activities immediately after treatment. You may experience redness and swelling for 12-24 hours, which will fade quickly. Scabs around the treated area may form, but this is normal and aids the healing process.
Those with less serious scarring can see mild improvements immediately. Most patients will see visible improvements after 2-3 sessions, which take around 3 months.
